DESCRIPTION:Virtual :: 1-hour \nThis activity is approved for the following credit: AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™\, ANCC\, ASWB\, and AAPA Category 1 CME. \nAudience: Mental health professionals\, health care providers\, social service professionals\, and general public community members \nReducing access to lethal means\, such as firearms and medication\, can determine whether a person at risk for suicide lives or dies. The CALM course focuses on how to reduce access to the methods people use to kill themselves. It is primarily designed for mental health professionals\, but others who work with people at risk for suicide—such as health care providers and social service professionals—would also benefit.
