After ears of having strict structure\, highly stressful career expectations\, and rigorous back to back training\, Veterans re-entering the civilian world can be a difficult challenge to overcome for most. Because of this\, Veterans struggling with substance use disorder and PTSD often enter treatment extremely guarded and/or resistant to treatment\, which can lead to them leaving treatment early. Substance abuse and PTSD are complex issues that require consistent care and commitment to healing for any population\, but for Veterans\, it’s important to understand the barriers that they face on a daily basis and how to help them overcome them. \nRegister online.
