SUMMARY:Social Determinants of Health Call Series
DESCRIPTION:SAMHSA’s Service Members\, Veterans\, and their Families Technical Assistance Center (SMVF TA Center) is pleased to present the TA Call Series “Social Determinants of Health” (SDOH)\, taking place November 2\, 9\, and 16\, 2021. This series will provide a unique opportunity to discuss challenges and ask questions about the SDOH. \n\n\nAccording to a 2020 analysis of Electronic Healthcare Record data between 2015 and 2016\, of nearly 300\,000 inpatient or outpatient visits from the Veterans Integrated Service Network 4\, adverse SDOH are strong predictors of suicide risk. \n\n\nIn this series\, we will explore how state and local suicide prevention efforts can positively impact the SMVF community.
