In-Person :: 1.5-hour :: $10 Event

The Lawrence County Conservation District is hosting a Rain Barrel and Composting Workshop at Pasture Maid Creamery in New Castle, PA. Attendees will learn about rain barrels, stormwater management, soil and water conservation, backyard composting, and more. Each participant will receive either a compost bin or rain barrel (with adapter kit). Supplies are limited and available first-come, first-served. Cost is $10 (cash at the door), and pre-registration is required.

Workshops like this support sustainable living and environmental stewardship. Veterans and their families may find value in learning cost-saving, practical ways to care for their homes and land while connecting with the broader community.
