Vigil of Hope

A memorial service to remember and honor those who have died from substance use causes. Drug and alcohol use takes thousands of lives each year. Grieving family members and friends are left not only with a loss, but also with the stigma of how their loved one passed.

UPMC Western Behavioral Health at Safe Harbor and Maria House Project have teamed up to offer a special memorial service to remember those lost to substance use or substance use related death. The Vigil of Hope is open to anyone who has been affected by a substance use loss.
