Recovery is Community: Differential Diagnosis with Complaints of Attention Problems

This presentation will review common differential diagnoses and symptom presentation for attention/focus patient complaints.

Learning Objectives – Participants will be able to:

  • ·Identify common differential diagnoses when presented with patient complaint of attention problems.
  • ·Identify some common screening tools that could be used to assist with diagnosis.
  • ·Identify when referral for neuropsychological evaluation is recommended to assist with diagnosis.

Requirements include attendance for the duration of the session and completion of a course evaluation provided at the end of the session.
