Recovery is Community: Evaluation and Diagnosis of ADD in Adults

This presentation will review diagnostic criteria for adult ADD diagnoses and review neuropsychological evaluation processes as well as screening tools that can be used.
Learning Objectives – Upon completion of this session participants will be able to:
- · Identify the DSM -5 diagnostic criteria for Attention Deficit Disorder.
- · Identify elements of a neuropsychological evaluation for attention difficulties.
- · Identify some common screening tools that can be helpful in identify possible diagnoses related to attention complaints.
- ·Identify at least 3 compensatory strategies to offer to patients that are not medication related.
Free CE credit of 1.0 hour for AMA, ANCC, and LSW/LCW/LPC/LMFT will be offered to those who attend.
Requirements include attendance for the duration of the session and completion of a course evaluation provided at the end of the session.
