adagio cooking event imageThe Northwest Pennsylvania (NW PA) Veteran Suicide Prevention Program operates on a three-pronged approach involving healthcare providers, community organizations, and Veterans and their families in the 15 counties of NW PA.

On April 29, 2023, a women Veterans event was held at Adagio Health in New Castle, PA, in collaboration with Northwest Pennsylvania Veteran Suicide Prevention Program. Cooking For Your Mind: Nutrition & Mental Health for Women Veterans featured registered dietitians and a licensed therapist and discussed ways to support mental health and overall well-being, including cooking demonstrations, recipes, and take-home bags of fresh food.

The photos highlight the joy and camaraderie experienced by attendees of all ages!
